Purpose of award: To award fellowships to medical students.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. medical school or dental school but not in M.D'/Ph.D., D.D.S'/Ph.D. or Ph.D. programs or have an M.D. or Ph.D. in lab-based biological sciences. Recipients will conduct research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Research experience is not required. Applicants should submit research areas of interest, personal statements, professional activities, awards, publications (optional), letters of reference, undergraduate and medical or dental school transcripts and MCAT or DAT scores.
