Purpose of award: To provide financial assistance for members of the UFCW and their children.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be members of the UFCW with a membership of one continuous year or more or the unmarried children of a member. Applicants must also be graduating high school in the year of the competition and be less than 20 years old. Academic achievement, class rank, biographical questionnaire and test scores are considered.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $1,000.
Number of awards: 7. Scholarship may be renewable.
Deadline: December 31.
