Purpose of award: To reward outstanding high school science fair projects.
Eligibility requirements: Students must participate in a regional science fair affiliated with Intel ISEF and be selected to advance to the Intel ISEF. The competition is open to students in the ninth to twelfth grade and has 18 categories: Animal Sciences, Behavioral and Social Sciences, Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Science, Engineering: Electrical and Mechanical, Engineering: Materials and Bioengineering, Energy and Transportation, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Mathematical Sciences, Medicine and Health, Microbiology, Physics and Astronomy, Plant Sciences and Team Projects.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: Up to $50,000.
Number of awards: 600.
Deadline: Varies.
