Purpose of award: To offer scholarships to the children of UWUA members.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be the sons or daughters of active Utility Workers Union members. Recipients are selected from those who participate in the National Merit Scholarship Competition by taking the PSAT/NMSQT as high school juniors, complete high school and are enrolled in a regionally accredited college in the United States.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $500-$2,000.
Number of awards: 2. Scholarship may be renewable.
Deadline: Varies.
