The award can be used for full-time study in the United States, but preference is given to those who intend to study in Hawaii. Eligibility depends on financial need, grades, and depth of character. Application requirements are essay, transcript, FAFSA and SAR. Applicants must have a permanent Hawaiian address, and if you take up residency on the mainland to study, you must have relatives still living here.
