Kansas Ethnic Minority Scholarship

Are you a member of one of the ethnic minorities that is considered for this scholarship? If you are an Alaskan Native, Asian American, African American, Mexican American, Hispanic American, Puerto Rican, or American Indian – you qualify! You also must reside in Kansas, have a history of high academic achievement, and be able to demonstrate financial need in order to continue your education. To do so, first go on line and complete the FAFSA free application that determines financial need (see note above for more details). Next, in addition to your State of Kansas Student Aid Application, for which there is a $12 fee, you will need to provide proof of eligibility, nomination for this award, transcript indicating at least a 3.0 GPA, and proof of FAFSA.
