Guildford College of Further and Higher Education - England

The largest college in Surrey,The Guildford College of Further and Higher Education has its two campuses at Stoke Park and Merrist Wood.Students enrolled in the college range from the age of sixteen to seventy.Around one thousand vocational,academic and leisure courses are on the offer from foundation to the degree level in a broad range of subjects.The university aims at improving the career prospects of their students by teaching new skills and develop new interests.Both the campuses deal with different areas of study like business,computing,performing arts ,teaching,travel and tourism etc.

The Merrist campus deals with land based ethnic topics like arboriculture,landscaping,floristry and garden design to name a few of the subjects.Comprehensive support in the form of tutorials,career advice and welfare services are provided by the college to enhance its learning procedure.
A large and rich learning and resource center with large collection of books and journals along with audio-visual resources are available for the students.Electronically available resources also facilitate students to carry on with their study programmes.On campus facility are not available to the students though the accommodation that are provided by the college are quite close to the college.
Distance Learning is also an important part of the Guildford College of Further and Higher Education.Financial aids,scholarships and awards are awarded to the students of the college.
