The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), is known for its concentration of teaching and research covering a wide range of social, political and economic sciences. The institution was founded in 1895. The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) encourages the entry of international students into its campus.

Location :
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is located at Houghton Street in Central London. The campus is easily accessible by tube, rail, bus and car. The tube stations close to the campus are Holborn, Temple and Charring Cross. The rail stations close to the campus are Waterloo, Charring Cross and Blackfriars.

Library & Learning Resources : The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) has a library which is the largest library in the world to be completely dedicated to social sciences. The library has over 90,000 historical pamphlets, over four million printed items including 31,000 journal titles, and 15,000 e-journals as a part of the electronic resources. The library provides 1,600 study places and 450 networked PCs for student use.

Accommodation : The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) has twelve sites which offer accommodation to LSE students only. The residences have a capacity to accommodate over 3400 students. Eight intercollegiate halls are also available for students. The accommodation is allocated on a random basis within designated quotas. The LSE Accommodation Office also provides assistance regarding private sector accommodation. Temporary accommodation is also provided.

Scholarships : A number of scholarships are offered by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to undergraduate, graduate and research students from the UK and EU. The LSE also has a number of awards and scholarships exclusively for the international students. Detail information regarding the scholarships are available from the LSE Financial Support Office. External scholarships, such as government grants and bursaries are available for UK and EU full-time students.
