Lincoln University - England

The Lincoln University was established in 11th October 1996. The university has five major departments, - Art, Architecture & Design, Business & Law, Health, Life & Social Sciences, Media & Humanities, Technology.

Location : The Lincoln University has three campuses in Lincoln, Hull and Holbeach. The Lincoln campus is the main one, with three locations in Brayford Campus, Cathedral Quarter and Riseholme Park.

Courses : The following types of courses are available at the Lincoln University :

Undergraduate courses in all subjects covered by the five departments.

Postgraduate courses :
1. Taught Degrees – MA, MSc. (Postgraduate Certificate & Diploma)
2. Research Degrees – MReS, MPhiL, PhD

Other courses :
1. Foundation Courses
2. Short Courses
3. Part-time Study
4. Further Education Study

Library & Learning Resources : The Lincoln University provides library facilities and student I.T. support across all the campuses. The library facilities include access to over 240,000 books, 1,000 periodical titles, a large selection of reference materials, daily newspapers, videos, dissertations and theses. The library also provides access to electronic journals and online databases. Computing and media facilities are also available.

Accommodation : The University provides accommodation both on and off campus. The Student Village consists of 17 buildings of self-catered apartments, with a capacity to accommodate 1037 students. Allocation is on a ‘first come first served' basis but accommodation is guaranteed for 1st year students. Students with disabilities are given priority. Facilities include free broadband connection and 24 hours CCTV & Security.

Scholarships : The Lincoln University offers a scholarship of 1000 GBP to all full time international students who are paying full fees, for the first year of study. Scholarships are applied per program of study. Other government scholarships and grants are available for UK and EU students. The Chevening Scholarship is offered by the British Council for international students.
