Royal College of Arts England

The Royal College of Arts is the only wholly postgraduate college in arts and design in the world. The University, situated in Kensington Gore, London started its journey way back in 1837 when it was called Government School of Design. Later in 1896, the name was changed to Royal College of Arts with a renewed emphasis on arts and design practice. The College has produced many personalities like Ridley Scott, Zandra Rhodes, and Phillip Treacy who have been reigning in the creative world.

Students flock in here from different parts of the country also to pursue their full-time or part-time research (Mphil and Phd ) in the aforementioned courses.

The college also has a very useful and informative library with 70,000 books providing important resources for the MA, Mphil,and Phd courses. The important sections of the Library are Product Information Collection, The Slide Collection, The Colour Reference Library, and the Computer cluster. The college is also equipped with college galleries, drawing studios, two lecture theatres. Computing services and audio visual services are also available.

The institute has also designed a Students Support Office which provides valuable information to the students on matters related to accommodation, finance and other general issues. It also acts as a Disabilities Coordinator dealing with allowance management of disabled students.
