Purpose of award: To encourage women to pursue careers related to the national security interests of the United States and to provide development opportunities to women already working in national security fields.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be full- or part-time female students at an accredited university or college and must have reached at least junior level status. Applicants must also demonstrate an interest in a career related to national security and defense, have a minimum GPA of 3.25 and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to students in security studies, military history, government relations, engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, business, law, international relations, political science, or economics.
