Purpose of award: To award scholarships to graduating students enrolled in Illinois high schools.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be children or grandchildren of American Legion Illinois members and must be in their senior year of high school. Awards may be used to further education at an accredited college, university or technical school.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $1,000.
Number of awards: 20.
Deadline: March 15.
