Purpose of award: Monetary assistance is awarded to a high school senior pursuing college studies that lead to a journalism career.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be high school seniors intending to major in journalism. Applicants must also demonstrate a commitment to the field of journalism, sensitivity to Asian American issues as demonstrated by community involvement, journalistic ability, scholastic ability and financial need.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $1,500.
