Purpose of award: To provide financial assistance to children and grandchildren of U.S. veterans and members of the military.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be Illinois high school seniors who have taken the SAT or ACT, and they must be the children or grandchildren of veterans who were honorably discharged after September 15, 1940 or who are currently serving in the military.
Target applicant: High school students

Amount: $500.
