Purpose of award: To recognize and encourage education as a key to greater opportunities among JACL members.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be National JACL members and must be attending a college, university, trade school, business school, or any other institution of higher learning at the undergraduate level. A personal statement, letter of recommendation, academic performance, work experience, and community involvement will all be considered.
Target applicant: College students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: Varies.
Number of awards: 10.
Deadline: April 1.
