Purpose of award: To promote equal opportunity in education.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be incoming freshman at an accredited Historically Black College or University in the U.S., must major in engineering, computer science or science and demonstrate financial need. Membership in the NAACP is not required, but highly recommended.
