Purpose of award: To help Latinos pursuing degrees in engineering and business.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be of Hispanic heritage, enrolled full-time at a four-year U.S. accredited college or university in the U.S., Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands and major in engineering (electrical, industrial, manufacturing or mechanical) or business (accounting, business administration, economics or finance). Applicants or their families must have ethnic backgrounds from Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Cuba, Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic. Students from Belize, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana are ineligible. Semifinalists must complete me GM online assessment.
