Purpose of award: To help students interested in the metallurgy or materials engineering field.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be student members of ASM International, plan to major in metallurgy or materials science engineering and be juniors or seniors at a North American university that has a bachelor's degree program in science and engineering. Applications, personal statements, transcripts, two recommendation forms, photographs and financial aid officers' contact information are required. The award is based on academics, interest in the field, character and financial need.
