Purpose of award: To honor Glenn Miller by recognizing future musical leaders.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants may apply as instrumentalists or vocalists. They must be high school seniors or college freshmen who plan to focus on music in their future lives. Applicants must submit an audition CD or tape in addition to an application form. High school seniors may reapply as college freshmen as long as they weren't first-place winners the previous year.

Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $1,000-$3,000.
Number of awards: 6.
Deadline: March 15.
