Purpose of award: To aid undergraduate or graduate women planning careers in geographic education.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be enrolled in a program leading to a career in geographic education, submit an essay on the provided topic and have an overall GPA of3.0 and a geography GPA of 3.5. The winner receives an additional $300 travel stipend if she attends the NCGE Annual Meeting.
